Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Appointments

What is East Asian Medicine?
East Asian Medicine, also known as Traditional Chinese Medicine is a modern form of holistic medicine with ancient roots. This holistic approach to health and healing evolved from ancient China over thousands of years. Today, it is still an essential medical system used throughout Asia and the West, with its own complete form of diagnosis, treatment and therapeutic practices. The primary goal of Chinese Medicine is to support a person's natural immune system and healing energy, to promote wholeness and balance within the mind, body, and spirit.
East Asian Medicine treats a wide variety of symptoms such as pain, injury, digestion, stress, anxiety, depression, mental health, fatigue, insomnia, hormonal imbalances, irregular menses, PMS, pregnancy, infertility, common colds, allergies, diabetes, skin conditions, stoke–just to name a few.
To support and ignite individualized healing, modalities such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, reflexology and tui na (bodywork) are utilized. Through the methods of diagnosis, practitioners are able to identify imbalances within the body, mind, and/or spirit, and treat patients by alleviating pain, tonifying and strengthening the functions of organs, calming the mind, and so much more!
